Being on Time in the Class

More and more people are showing up to class late. Being late in the class is bad for three reasons. These reasons include interrupting other students, damaging grade, and not respecting the teacher. First, Students who are late interrupt other students. Usually, they make noisy when they come to class. Sometimes, teachers need to say something again because of late person. They also make other students lose concentration. Second, being late can damage to their grade. Sometimes, they miss information about homework, so they can’t do homework very well. They also miss what other students learned. Being late affect their attendance score too. Third, being late is not respecting teachers. Teachers are not late. They think students supposed to show up on time. Sometimes, being late make teachers angry.
In short, you must not interrupt others and lose your grade. You have to be on time in the class.

It doesn't matter what strangers think of me. There are several reasons. First, strangers are just strangers. They don't affect my life, so I don't need to care what they think. Second, if I care everyone likes me, I can't do what I really want. It is very stupid. Third, I don't have enough time to care what they think of me. Life is very short. I don't want to waste my time in my life. For those reasons, I don't care what strangers think of me.

One Storming Night

A young couple lived in a small Northeastern city. The wife worked for a technical company far away from home and she usually got home after dusk. It was a stormy day. The rain had been falling really hard most of the day. Some electric poles had been broken down by the heavy rain and wind. The husband got home around 5pm and prepared dinner as usual. He expected his wife to get home around 8pm like she always did. From the kitchen, he could hear the noise from her footsteps. He called out his wife’s name but didn’t get any response. He went outside and looked but nobody was there. When he came back, his wife was sitting on the sofa. The dinner started out like every other dinner. One thing that was different from this dinner was that she didn’t talk at all. He thought she must have been very tired from a long day at work. He was angry, but he decided to forget about it and go to bed early. They went to the bed after the quick meal. It was raining very hard outside and the room was completely dark. He almost fell asleep, but he could still feel his wife’s touch. It was so cold when she touched him. Her hand felt like ice. He decided to hold her to keep her warm. However, the wife’s body felt very wet. He wondered why her body was so wet. He just thought she went out into the rain after the meal. When he woke up next day, he quickly went into the bathroom. Then he turned on the radio to listen news in the morning. Suddenly, he heard there was an accident last night and one woman died. The woman who died had the same name as his wife! He ran into the bedroom and he couldn’t believe his eyes. The place where she slept was empty. There was just a pile of blood.

I went to the ALP Halloween party in the evening. I met many ALP students who wore strange costume. They also made up their face too. Some people made me to be so surprised. I ate some delicious foods. After eating I took pictures, and many people danced. It had a lot of fun.

Las Vegas

Do you want to win a lot of money on games? If you don't play game, it is the best way to save your money, but I have some suggestions on how you don't lost a lot of money. First, control you mind. You should have confidence and have a good mind. Everything looks gorgeous, but keep your calmness. Don't drink free cocktail. Then, choose a dealer who looks very tired and stupid. If dealer is winning on the game, talk to him and interfere in order to change the atmosphere. Next, don't play just one thing a lot. Play many things, so you can find which one is good for you. Finally, most important thing is you should know when you stop your game. When you get some money, just leave there. Don't think about money which you lose.

Tennis and Swimming

I want to compare tennis and swimming. They have some different things. First, tennis is competition with two people, but swimming is competition with several people. Second, tennis is played on the ground, but swimming is played in a pool. Third, tennis needs rackets and balls, but swimming doesn't need them. Fourth, clothes are different. They wear shot shirt, shot pants or skirt, socks, and shoes on tennis game, but, on swimming game, they wear swimsuit and swimming headgear.

Mcdonald's and KFC are major fast food restaurants. They have a lot of stores in many countries. They have mascot. Mcdonald's mascot is Ronald. He is famous, and it symbolizes happiness. He is young and looks funny, whereas KFC's mascot is Colonel Sanders. He looks like grandfather. He smiles, wears white suit and ties butterfly necktie. His smile symbolizes his mind, and white suit symbolize cleanliness. Mcdonald's sells hamburgers and KFC sells chickens. KFC also sells a few burgers, and inside burgers, there are chickens, but Mcdonald's has many kinds of hamburgers.

How to Make My Favorite Dish

Make Kimchi. First, prepare ten cabbages, three radishes, ten garlics, ten cups of red pepper powder, a ginger, salt, shallots, pickled anchovies and raw oysters. Next, cut cabbages in quarter. Then preserve cabbages in salt water for five hours. Then mix them up, and wash them with cold water. Next, chop radishes and shallots, and mince garlics, gingers, and picked anchovies. Then wash raw oysters with salt water. Mix red pepper powder with them, then spread them into cabbages. Finally, you can eat Kimchi.

How to Lose 10 Pounds in Two Days

Drink a bottle of water as soon as you wake up in the morning. Then go out and do jogging an hour. After coming back home, go to the back yard of your house to do swimming. Don't wear a tube, and swim very hard for two hours. During lunch time, eat just an apple and water. An apple is good for losing a weight. After lunch, play tennis for two hours, and wash your family's cars in the sun. After that, you can drink water. Then cut the grass in the yard. In the evening, do jogging again and stretch your body an hour. You must be tired, but don't sleep early. Until just before going to bed, dance hard because you should use your energy a lot. Then sleep just three or four hours. On the second day, do same thing again, and take a medicine to have diarrhea. If you follow these rules, you can lose 10 pounds in two days.

If you want to find marriage partner, go to the party with hot dress. Next, find a man, then approach him and dance with him. If he is not your style, find another man again. Before going home, exchange phone number with him. After that, date with him several times and meet his family. Pretend that you are so kind and nice. If you like him, propose to him. If he refuse your propose, go to the party and start again with another man.

Embarrassing Moment

In Korea in summer, it was raining in the morning. I was going to school, so I took a bus, and I had to transfer from a bus to a subway. Arriving the subway station, I stood up from my seat, and I went toward the door, but the floor was very slippery. The door was opened, and I tried to go down stairs, but I slid down the several stairs on the bus with screaming, and I fell on my backside. It was not a small accident. Stairs were tall. I was so surprised, and I was painful on my hips. There are so many people in inside and outside of the bus because it was subway station. All of them saw me, so I was shameful. My back of pants were wet, but I wanted go to school. I didn't want to go back home because it's miserable. I went into the subway with wet pants and I was painful a week.

The origin of holloween is from Celtes 2,500 years ago. At that time, October 31 was the last day of year. People thought on the night before the new year, souls of the dead appeared, so they wore a mask and made a fire to drove them away. On halloween day, people make a Jack O' Lantern by a pumpkin because a pumpkin is carved easily. On this day, children play "Trick or treat". They tour every door and ask candies. Young men drink beer, and young women wear daring clothes on this day.

Universal Studios

I went to Universal Studios. Weather was very nice. I have been there three times, so I tried few things. I enjoyed with my two friends. They are a couple, so I felt little bit lonely. Before entering at gate, we ate breakfast. after that, we went to Jurassic Park directly because I like falling ship. We liked Mummy and Jurassic Park, so we took them two times. Actually, I didn't like Mummy because of sickness. I was wet in Waterworld because I sat in wet zone, but it is not too much because we prepared a towel to defend water like a shield. I walked a lot, so I was so hungry, but we didn't have a time to eat something. Trip in Universal Studios was so fun and lonely.

My room is on second floor in my house. Color of the wall is white, and the bottom is white carpet. Next to door, There is a big mirror. The mirror covered one side of the wall. The opposite side of door, there is a big window, so my room is usually bright. In front of window, there is a desk and chair. Next to desk, there is a long ramp. My room is unremarkable.

On wedding day, a bride wears a white wedding dress, and a groom wears a black tuxedo. Their relatives, friends, and coworkers come to the wedding ceremony. A groom enter the hall first with music. Then a bride enter the hall with her father. Next, an officiator speaks something for 10minutes. It's very boring. Then a bride and a groom swear something about their relationship. Their friends or a singer sing good song for congratulation. After ceremony, all of people take pictures with a bride and a groom. After that, they eat lunch which a bride and a groom prepared, but many people eat lunch during ceremony because actually they don't need to see that and they are hungry.

Who Decides Whether A Person is Innocent or Guilty?

In Korea, just judges decide whether a person is innocent or guilty. Lawyers defend defendants, and prosecutors attack defendants with evidences. Judges watch their combat, then judges decide. At that time, judges have to tell a defendant reasons. If a defendant disagrees about judge's decision, they can appeal to the high court. In Korea, jurors can't do anything. They don't have competence.

I want to go to a jungle in Africa on my vacation. First, I want to do some activities. I want to hunt animals and fishes by a spear, and I want to see many wild animals for example, tiger, lion, crocodile, cheetah, and monkey. It doesn't mean I like animals, but I am curious about them. Second, I think scene is beautiful, and air is great. I need fresh air. Maybe it's good for my health. My Weekend

On weekend, I worked in the mall almost all day. I sell hair accessories. I had a lot of customers, so I was so busy. I tried them hair pins and wigs on their hair, even they didn't like that because I had to sell a lot, so I pressured them to buy a stuff. Some customer's hair was really disgusting. One customer had black bugs on her hair, so I gave up selling to her. Usually customers are taller than me, so I had to stand by toes. Some customers were very nice, but sometimes, I met bad customers too. Bad customer means that they tried many stuffs for a long time, but they didn't get anything. During 10hours, I ate just a prezel, and I couldn't sit because my boss doesn't like that, so after standing 8hours, I felt electricity on my legs. I was so tired, but it was fun.

An Unforgettable Experience

On mother's day in this year, I had some problems, so I was so sad. I was going to my friend's house by my car. When I was driving a car, I was crying, so I couldn't pay attention to other cars. I had to turned left, but that was yield left turn. When green light appeared, I entered the intersection. Then yellow light appeared, so I turned left, but I didn't see forward cars. When I turned left, one car came to me fast. I thought that car will stop, but he didn't stop, and I didn't stop, too. We just drove. Finally, we bumped each other. I was so afraid because it was first time to me, and here is not my country. I cried again. I worried about other cars because they couldn't go to their way, so I moved back little bit, but people who watched the accident said me "Don't move, and call 911!" I didn't call 911, but they came to bring a person who is opposite side passenger. I think that person was fine, but suddenly she pretended that she hurt a lot because it was my false, so they wanted get some money. I took off from my car, and I saw that my car was broken. Soon policeman came. I was so afraid, so I couldn't understand what policeman said. Actually, he spoke so quickly. After arriving at home, I felt pain on my right leg, so I wanted to go to hospital, but nobody didn't care of me. I couldn't go to hospital, and I cried again in my room. During a month, I got huge stress. I had to pay to insurance company, so I had to get a part-time job, and insurance company called me very often. I scared at their calling. They sent me letters a lot almost every single day, and they said me it was your 100% false, and opposite driver hired an attorney to against me. I got a nightmare. It's an unforgettable experience to me.

My Favorite Season

My Favorite season is summer. There are some reasons.
First, I like summer sports. I like surfing, swimming and boating in the water. Every summer, I go to the beach with my family or friends. I love it.
Second, I don't need thick clothes in summer. I wear light clothes, so it's very comfortable and convenience.
Third, Korea has the rainy season and many typhoons in summer. I like strong wind and rain so much. Sometimes, when typhoon came, I couldn't walk forward and my umbrella was broken, but it's very fun, and I enjoy it.
Fourth, Summer make me lose weight. Usually I lost my weight in summer, even I didn't do anything. I sweat a lot in summer. I think that's why.

Change Our Class Schedules!

I want you change our class schedules right now. Our schedules is so terrible.
First, We can't participate in Fun Lunch because we have a class at same time. I don't understand why you made our schedules like that. It's not fair. I want to participate in Fun Lunch. I want to meet people and talk with them, and I want to play soccer too. You stole my chance to do something.
Second, our lunch time is too early to eat lunch. Nobody eat lunch at 10:00. Anyway I eat lunch at lunch time, so I am so starving after 2:00PM, so I can't concentrate on the class. Just I think foods!
It's unbelievable schedules. Please change our class schedules.

A person who has made a difference : Grand King Sejong.

Grand King Sejong was a king in korea.
He created Korean alphabet, Hangul in 1443.
Many people disagreed to make Korean letter, but he wanted everyone can use a letter easily. We had used Chinese letter at that time, but Chinese letter was difficult to many people because Chinese and Koreans use different language. Hangul is a scientific and convenient letter, and if we see a letter, we can read correctly even we've never seen the word before. Hangul has 10 vowels and 14 consonant.
From that time, most people could use a letter easily.

My Favorite Sports

My favorite sports is a swimming. There are several reasons. First, It is good for losing my weight because it spend a lot of energe. I have developed muscle on my calves, so it looks very not good, but if I swim everyday It make my muscles spread. Second, It is good for health especially for lungs, and it doesn't give my knees a pain because I swim in the water. Finally, even I swim very hard, I'm not hot. In the pool, I always feel cool and free.
Swimming has many benefits, so I like swimming so much.

My name is Choae Lee, and I was born in Seoul, Korea. I have parents and a younger brother. My favorite subject was Music and History. My major was computer science, but I wasn’t interested in computer, so I got a job as an accountant. It was better than computer. I’ve been U.S.A for 7months. I live in Fullerton with my aunt’s family. My favorite food is roll and sushi. When I came here I liked all of food, but now I like just Korean and Japanese food. I like listen to the music and watching TV in my free time, and sometimes, I play the piano, but my fingers are not flexible anymore.
